COVID-19 Notice

Dear Dental Family,

At Rosenfeld Dental Associates your health, safety, and concerns are of the utmost importance to us.

In the last few hours, there have been changes in the guidelines that dentistry is implementing to meet this worldwide challenge, Coronavirus COVID-19.  In following with ADA Guidelines, Our office will be open under limited hours and available for patients needing emergency treatment only for the next 3 weeks. Elective, routine, and hygiene visits will be rescheduled after the three week period has passed unless any updated information occurs. Our office is on the cutting edge and we will continue to make adjustments as the situation changes.

Our infection control protocol and standards continue to be of the highest caliber. Infection control procedures are actions taken in health care settings to prevent the spread of disease. Universal precautions involve treating every patient with the ultimate regard to prevent the spread of any disease. We care about your safety and work hard to prevent the spread of infection. Before you enter the examining room, all surfaces, such as the dental chair, dental light, drawer handles, and countertops, have been cleaned and disinfected, and all instruments are sterilized and tested as such by strict guidelines.

If you or someone you are in close contact with have recently traveled to one of the countries with large outbreaks of COVID-19 (China, Italy, Iran, South Korea) or if you have been exposed to someone else who was diagnosed with COVID-19 or who was quarantined as a precaution, wait 14 days until you see your dentist to make sure you have not caught the coronavirus.

It’s important to know that most people infected with the coronavirus experience flu-like symptoms and then recover. Most people do not develop serious respiratory complications.

Here are a few things you can do on your own to help keep yourself and those around you healthy:
