Steven J. Resnick, DDS, FAES

Dr. Steven Resnick graduated from New York University College of Dentistry. For his superior achievements, he was elected to Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society, and was presented with the Mosby Scholarship Award. He completed an intensive general practice residency program at Goldwater Memorial Hospital in New York City. In addition to his residency, Dr. Resnick trained in oral surgery at Bellevue Hospital in New York City and in pediatric dentistry at the Rose Kennedy Center for Exceptional Children in the Bronx.
Dr. Resnick is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the New York University College of Dentistry in the Department of Cariology and Comprehensive Care. For his outstanding dedication and commitment to the student body, he was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation from the NYU student council.
For his advanced work in the field of root canal therapy, Dr. Resnick has been awarded the status of Fellowship in the American Endodontic Society. He is a Founding Member and a Fellowship Member of the International Dental Health Foundation, and has also served as its Chairman of the Board. Dr. Resnick has lectured nationally about the non-surgical treatment of gum disease, and his written explanations of the causes and available treatments for these diseases are found in dental offices across the country.
Dr. Resnick is also a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and has served on its Board of Directors. He is a Founding Member of the Association for Contemporary Dental Education and presently serves on its continuing education committee. He is also a Certified Clinical Researcher for the PEARL Network, a collaboration of academic researchers and experienced clinicians who have teamed together to gather data and uncover scientific truths pertaining to many of the current controversies in dentistry.
Dr. Resnick is a product evaluator and consultant to major dental manufacturing companies in the fields of restorative and cosmetic dentistry and periodontics. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, and the New Jersey Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped. His membership in the American Academy of Sports Dentistry allows Dr. Resnick to merge his passions for both athletics and dentistry, and involves him in the prevention and treatment of sports-related oral and dental injuries.
Dr. Resnick and his wife Sherrie have three children, A.J., Alison, and Jillian.
David S. Rosenfeld, DDS

Dr. David Rosenfeld graduated from the Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery in New York City. He completed a post-doctorate general practice residency at The Jamaica Hospital and Medical Center in Queens, New York. For his superior achievements, Dr. Rosenfeld was selected to serve as the Chief Dental Resident in the year following his general residency program. During that time, Dr. Rosenfeld not only completed advanced training in the fields of cosmetic dentistry, oral pathology, and pediatric dentistry, but also helped found and develop the oral implantology program at the hospital. He served as a clinical instructor at the hospital before devoting himself to the private practice of dentistry.
For Dr. Rosenfeld’s advanced training in the fields of dental implants and implant prosthetics, he was awarded the status of Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantology. Dr. Rosenfeld is a member of the National Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped, and donates time and services treating special needs individuals whom have little or no access to dentistry.
Dr. Rosenfeld was recognized by the New Jersey Dental Association for volunteering time to “Give Kids a Smile” program, in which children who do not have access to dental treatment are able to receive quality care at no cost. . He currently is a member of the American Academy of Oral Implantology, American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Rosenfeld is a certified Invisalign dentist. He is able to straighten, align, and beautify many patients’ smile without the use of bulky braces.
Dr. Rosenfeld is also an accomplished musician and a lover and restorer of classic cars.

Margaret McDermott is a health care professional with more than 18 years of experience in clinical as well as administrative positions. As the Patient Care Consultant, Margaret is an integral part of this truly "patient-centered" practice. Her responsibilities include communicating with patients regarding treatment, financial arrangements, assisting in the resolution of insurance issues, and assuring that patients are completely satisfied with every aspect of our service. In addition, Margaret has developed and instituted a professional communications program in the areas of marketing and public relations. Margaret is totally committed to helping patients achieve their optimum dental health and beauty. Every aspect of our office has been designed to achieve excellence. She assures that this mission is accomplished in a kind, gentle, and personalized manner. Irene Dougherty has been involved in dentistry for 22 years, 21 of which have been in our office. She holds a B.S. Degree in Management Science. As the Business Manager, Irene sees to it that all activities are coordinated so that the patient experience is a totally positive and relaxing one. Irene coordinates and controls our state-of-the-art infection control system, allowing our patients to rest assured that they are being treated in a safe, disease-free environment. Irene's love for life and her joyous personality are truly representative of our office. When not at work, Irene devotes her time to her husband and four wonderful children.

Robin earned her degree from Middlesex County College and has over 30 years if dental and periodontal experience. She has been treating periodontal disease with the microscopically monitored, non-surgical, anti-infective technique in this office for over 20 years. Robin's years of experience in anti-infective therapy have allowed her to become a brilliant co-diagnostician of periodontal disease and a true authority on the ramifications of various types of therapy. In her spare time, Robin loves to travel and spend time with her family.
Pattie Camden

Pattie earned her degree in dental hygiene from Middlesex County College. As a Registered Dental Hygienist, Pattie has extensive experience in treating periodontal patients, as well as geriatric and pediatric patients. Pattie’s love and devotion to her patients and profession is evident from the moment one meets her. When not treating patients, Pattie enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. Her hobbies are reading, listening to music, and spending time outdoors.

Kelly received her Dental Hygiene Degree from Middlesex County College in 2004. She has been involved in dentistry for many years, serving as both a surgical assistant and an orthodontic assistant. Her varied experience in the dental field enables Kelly to view the broad range of dental diseases and treatments with ease. When not helping her patients, Kelly spends her free time with family, listening to music, and reading. She is an active volunteer in her town’s Community Emergency Response Team.

Jackie Serra brings eight years of dental assisting experience and her kind caring personality to our office. Jackie trained at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill and achieved her radiology certification at Middlesex College. Jackie also holds a certificate in nursing. She is a community service volunteer who has worked in senior facilities and on a traveling dental bus. When not working chairside in our office, Jackie enjoys her family, the Arts, and her miniature Schnauzer.

Anita has been an integral part of our office for over 25 years. Her talents enable her to act as a dental assistant as well as a receptionist. She earned a degree in Dental Assisting from Union County College. As a receptionist, it is Anita's responsibility to make patients feel at home in our office, and help them schedule convenient times to care for their health and dental needs. Anita's kind, caring manner allows her to fulfill this responsibility in a superior manner. Her lengthy experience as a dental assistant has provided Anita with a unique perspective of what is involved in planning and completing comprehensive patient care, a perspective that she is able to use for all our patients' benefit. Anita resides in Union County with her husband, and her two daughters are currently in college.
